We had a wonderful day out at Borde Hill. We went along for the girls to do the Garden of Imagination trail. We pre-booked our day online and had a set arrival time, once there, we were checked in and the girls were given a trail booklet to follow. They loved wandering around the beautiful gardens looking for the clues with some fun activities to do too. This time there was also an extended trail, the Enchanted Woodland, to find the fairy doors of the 12 fairies that live there. It was great fun, and the trail is certainly worth the extra £2 cost per child as they loved claiming their prize at the end (I wont spoil the prize, but they could choose which one and had a different one each which was great)! A great family day out I would highly recommend!
📌 Parking is free and lots of spaces.
📌 Entry to the gardens is at a cost - see website for various pricing. We used a gardeners world two for 1 offer on the adults.
📌 Entry to the trail is an additional £2 per child. Worth it in my opinion as it’s fun to do and a lovely gift at the end. Trail runs to 13th September.
📌 The Gardeners retreat cafe is open for take away including coffee’s, sandwiches, cakes, crisps and more. We had some sandwiches, crisps and ice creams. Delicious! @gardenersretreatcafe
📌 Lots of signage around the gardens to ensure one way system is adhered too.
📌 The adventure playground is still closed.
