Heaven Farm - West Sussex
We visited @heavenfarmsussex this week to check it out. First we stopped by the bird avery for the children to see all the little birds in there. We then purchased our tickets from the Stable Tea Room. We didn’t stop for food this time but they do serve a lovely selection of breakfast, cream teas lunches and a roast on a Sunday too!
The nature trail was lovely. The wood parkland and waterside walks of the Nature Trail hold Conservation Awards from the South of England Agricultural and so are very picturesque. The children loved seeing the wallabies as the walk began and learning the fun animal facts that have been scattered along the trail too. If anything I would say a few more signs would be good as they seemed to stop halfway (but maybe we went a wrong way?!). We did the full walk and this took around 2 hours with their little legs.
And of course no trip to Heaven Farm is complete without an ice cream from @latchettsfarm. There was a small queue outside where we kept our distance and then as we entered the shop we wore our mark to place our orders. The milk used is from the cows on Heaven Farm. This time we had flavours between us including Bueno and Rocher and I can confirm they taste exactly like the actual chocolate treats themselves! Delicious as always! We sat outside as indoor seating is currently closed but it was lovely and we were also joined by some free roaming chickens too. The views around are just beautiful. We will be back soon to try out even more flavours as, well, it would be rude not too right?! 😋🍦
📌 Parking is free and lots of spaces.
📌 Entry to the nature trail is at a cost - see website for various pricing as it is more in Spring due to their bluebell season. We paid £3.50 adult and £2 child over 5 which is a good price for the walk we did.
📌 You do not pre book the trail and pay on arrival.
📌 The nature trail was buggy friendly.
📌 The public toilets are now open.
📌 They also offer a camping and caravan club at Heaven Farm.
📌 If you would like to dine inside the Stable Tea Room you will need to pre book.
