After reading our blog about the parks in Disneyland Paris, I am sure you are now wondering where to stay when you book to go. I sure cant wait to book our trip back to Disneyland Paris soon!
I have broken this blog into sections to make it a littler easier. The first covers the benefits of staying in a Disneyland hotel, the second part is about the meal plans you can add to your stay (which is great for keeping costs down when you are there), and lastly of course, the hotels themselves. I wonder where you will choose after reading this?

How do Meal Plans work?
Choose between half board and full board dining
Select the plan that best suits your taste and budget: Breakfast, Standard, Plus or Premium.
Collect your Magic Pass at check-in with meal entitlements ready to redeem at the restaurants.

The meal plans you can choose from are:
Standard Meal Plan
Start the day with breakfast at your Disney Hotel.* Dishes vary by hotel, with options including a hot buffet, pastries, cold meats, cheese, fruit, yoghurt and juice. Then enjoy lunch or dinner at one of five all-you-can-eat buffets restaurants offering plenty of tasty family favourites.
Plus Meal Plan
Enjoy more choice with the Plus Meal Plan. Start the day with breakfast at your Disney Hotel*, then enjoy access to more than 15 all-you-can-eat buffet restaurants and table service restaurants with a set menu for lunch and dinner. Among the options is the second sitting at Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show... with Mickey and Friends!
Premium Meal Plan
Start the day with breakfast at your Disney Hotel*, plus the widest variety of restaurants, serving French delicacies, American favourites and more. The Premium option gives you access to all Disney restaurants. This includes meals with Disney Characters and Disney
WHERE TO STAY
So now we know why we should stay at a Disney hotel, let me tell you a little about the hotels themselves:
Theme - New Mexico landscapes and the iconic sights of Route 66 are all around you at Hotel Santa Fe. With bright colour design to suit the South West vibe and car themed fun throughout, it’s the perfect hotel to spot a few of your Cars favourites such as Lightning McQueen.
Distance from the parks – 20-25 minute walk or can use the free shuttle.
Key facilities:
· Pow Wow Game Arcade games room (for an extra charge)
· Indoor kids' play area (parental supervision required)
· Free parking
· Disney Character Encounters
Dining - La Cantina serves up Tex Mex and European dishes buffet-style (some even in the back of a truck). And for fun in the evening, there is the Southwestern-style Rio Grande Bar, a buzzing venue with regular live music and karaoke evenings. You will also find a Starbucks Coffee Shop onsite for a grab-and-go breakfast and snacks.
Rooms – The standard room offers you a choice of location from riverside to hotel facilities, or there is a family room that sleeps 6! The rooms are great fun with Cars wallpaper and traffic cone lights too.
Theme - I have stayed at this hotel and it had a great vibe to it. It is set in a Wild West town inspired by classic Hollywood Westerns. It also has a fun Toy Story theme throughout. The theme can be quite subtle, but I liked that. There is a whole frontier-style village to explore with a saloon, shop and restaurant too.
Distance from the parks – 20-minute walk or can use free shuttle. (I found was quicker to walk).
Key facilities:
· Fort Apache - an outdoor play area with teepees
· Nevada Game Arcade - a choice of coin-op games machines
· Pony rides - kids can take to the trail (at an extra charge and depending on the season)
· Free parking
· Disney Character Encounters
Dining - Chuck Wagon Café is great for buffet style food and drinks. Red Garter Saloon is the place to enjoy a drink whilst listening to some country tunes. As well as an onsite Starbucks Coffee Shop for grab-and-go breakfast and snacks.
Rooms –Toy Story theme appears more in the room too. For example, there is a cowboy boot shaped light and Toy Story light shade, as well as Woody and friends on the wallpaper. Standard rooms, or trundle rooms are the main choice. And then you can also determine location, so river side or to be near to hotel facilities. (Most rooms are max 4).
Theme -If you love the great outdoors, this is the place for you. A forest lodge inspired by America's national parks. With the authentic feel of a peaceful night spent around a flickering fireplace and walks around Lake Disney and surrounding forest. Bambi even makes an appearance in your room too!
Distance from the parks – Roughly 15 minutes’ walk around the lake or can use the free shuttle bus.
Key facilities:
· Indoor swimming pool with slide
· Outdoor pool
· Fitness centre
· Indoor Kids’ Corner (parental supervision required)
· Free parking
· Disney Character Encounters
Dining - Hunter’s Grill and Beaver Creek Tavern offer all-you-can-eat buffet menus, including classic American dishes and International favourites. At the end of the day, head to the Redwood Bar and Lounge where there is a magnificent open stone fireplace to admire.
Rooms - Choice of standard room as well as either lakeside or near hotel facilities. Or you can also upgrade to the Golden Forest club rooms and suites. These rooms add a touch of Disney magic to them by having a small nod to Bambi in their rooms on the pictures too. By booking a club room, you will get dedicated private check-in; private lounge access including a gourmet breakfast and tasty afternoon snacks; access to certain attractions with Disney Hotel FASTPASS® (Club Rooms) or VIP FASTPASS® (Suites) too.
Theme - This hotel has been re-imagined and newly opened to bring you a New York art gallery celebrating Marvel! Contemporary, modern, new and the only hotel bringing you up close to Marvel characters!
Distance from the parks – just a 10 minute walk away (or you can use the shuttle).
Key facilities:
· Heroic Encounters with Marvel superheroes – and great photo locations too!
· Indoor and outdoor swimming pool
· Sauna, steam room and whirlpool
· Fitness Centre
· Outdoor fitness park
· Free parking
· Marvel Design Studio - little heroes can unleash their inner creative genius and learn how to be a Marvel comic-book artist.
Dining – The Manhattan Restaurant serves all the favourites you would expect in a traditional Italian Trattoria. As well as the Downtown Restaurant, where you can tuck into the famously cosmopolitan tastes of New York including Chinese, Italian, and American classics. Or sip on a cocktail with a New York skyline view at the Skyline Bar.
Rooms – they are art-deco themed with artwork featured from your favourite Marvel films. There is a choice of superior room standard or upgrade to terrace or garden view, and a superior family room sleeping up to 6. Dining - Yacht Club offers a delicious menu inspired by New England with Mediterranean influences. Cape Cod is great for more informal dining, for a wide-ranging buffet of Mediterranean and international flavours in a New England seaside setting. And there is the Captain's Quarters for an aperitif served amid the glamourous world of regattas and racing yachts.
Rooms - luxury, seaside-themed air-conditioned room tastefully decorated with subtle references to Mickey’s maritime adventures. Dining - Dress to impress at California Grill and enjoy California-inspired fine dining in a grand Victorian setting. Inventions overlooks Main Street USA and includes Character Dining for sumptuous buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. And of course, Café Fantasia is an exquisite piano bar with a relaxing atmosphere.
Rooms – Choice of superior room with an upgrade to terrace or family rooms. (can sleep up to 5). Or for even more luxury, why not book a castle club room or suite. If you do, you will also benefit from dedicated private check-in; dedicated hotel lounge for gourmet breakfast and free beverages and afternoon snacks; breakfast with Disney characters; private lift to Disneyland Park entrance, privileged access to certain attractions with the exclusive VIP FASTPASS®.
Les Villages Nature® Paris
All the hotels above are all classed as onsite – as they are so close to the Disney magic. But if you fancied something a little different, then you must also consider Les Villages Nature® Paris. It also has the Extra Magic Time in the parks included as well as free parking too.
Theme - Staying at the Les Villages Nature Paris makes for a different type of Disneyland® Paris experience. Think Center Parcs but right next door to Disney! Here you can reconnect with the magic of nature, relax and rediscover your adventurous side at this home from home eco-village.
Distance from the parks - 15 minutes by car, 25 minutes by paying public shuttle – there is no free shuttle service here and it is not walkable.
Key facilities:
· Aqualagon - with seven waterslides, wave pool, outdoor geothermal lagoon heated to 30°C all year round
· Extraordinary Gardens for you to walk around
· Forest of Legends themed outdoor playground
· BelleVie farm - hands-on activities such as animal care, cookery and gardening. Little ones will enjoy the indoor playground too
· Relaxing Deep Nature® spa (fees apply)
· Ramblers’ path and tree climbing trails - enjoy a thrilling aerial obstacle course (fees apply), a relaxing stroll, a fitness trail plus more
· Natural beach - bathe in the clear lake water and play beach games and sports

· Kids’ club and Baby club with trained supervisors (fees apply)

Dining – Of course you can dine in your own accommodation (especially handy for breakfast), but if you prefer to eat out, there is a great choice. From table service to quick bites at Lakeside Promenade which also features a wine bar. Plus you could grab a gourmet brunch or lunch at BelleVie Farm restaurant or head to Aqualagon Café to refuel with a healthy refreshing drink between dives and splashes.
Rooms - The premium accommodation offers two luxurious comfort levels; Country Premium or Cocoon VIP. Then you can choose if you have one or two bedrooms (sleeps 5). All are equipped with a kitchen, lounge and one or two bedrooms, offering plenty of space for the whole family to relax and enjoy an unforgettable Disney holiday.
Where to book:
I would highly recommend booking with AttractionTickets.com for quite a few and important reasons.
