Sheffield Park

Sheffield Park - East Sussex

Sheffield Park - East Sussex

Described as a horticultural work of art, you really can see why. We had a wonderful day at @sheffield_park_and_garden . Taking in the four lakes and wandering through woodland, Pulham falls and palm walk there were so many beautiful photo opportunities. The girls loved the wildlife with many butterflies and dragonflies to be seen, and of course they especially enjoyed watching the ducks and geese in the lakes.

With the current situation, the main restaurant is closed but they did have a takeaway cafe called “the Shant” offering drinks, ice creams and sandwiches too. The seating area is closed there but with such vast parkland and benches around, it’s easy enough to find somewhere to sit and relax. They also have the shop still open too. All outlets were taking card payments only.

Although not too much for children going on, the girls loved the freedom of walking around and taking in the sights and Bethany was very excited to find a tree that you are allowed to climb. All in all, a lovely few hours together outside 🌳 ☀️ 🌷 🌱 🦆 🌴

📌 Parking is free.

📌 Entry to the park is £10 adult and £5 child though we used a gardeners world 2 for 1 offer. @gardenersworldmag

📌 You must pre book your date and time of arrival.

📌 The whole walk we did was buggy friendly.

📌 The public toilets are open.

📌 New one way entrance and exit to be observed with signs around the gardens too.
